Executive Management Team

Caledonian's Executive Management
Team leads a multi-discipline workforce that has extensive experience in
many areas of business and operations. The two main functional areas
(Sales/Marketing and Operations) are each headed by a Partner who, along
with the Senior partner, comprise the Executive Team. Reporting to each
Partner are managers and operational team leaders who manage the daily
operations and assignments.
Based in the USA, Caledonian has offices in Delaware and
Texas, with satellite offices in London and Tokyo. We are currently
expanding our staff and operations, with regional representatives now
working in Canada and Scotland!
With over 100 consultants
experienced in all aspects of running a business, many of whom have managed
their own businesses or have extensive Fortune 500 experience, Caledonian is
well positioned to deliver the support and services that our clients need. Depending upon
the clients needs, experts in retail, manufacturing, operations, finance,
legal and HR issues can be assigned and bring the latest knowledge and
business practices with them at an affordable cost to the small or medium
business owner.

Colin McKie - Senior Partner/Corporate |

Originally from Scotland, Colin has extensive experience in the
business world spanning enterprise, medium and small businesses. Customer
focused & performance driven, with experience gained working in Europe,
the Middle East and the USA at the “C” level in strategic marketing,
operations management, business development and business implementation.
With his extensive Entrepreneurial and Turnaround Management Experience,
he has over 35 years experience working for and providing consulting
services to government agencies, Fortune 100 corporations and
associations in the Small/Medium Business segment, Medical, HR, Retail,
Manufacturing, Defence & Educational fields.
In addition to starting and managing three successful small businesses,
he has taught at both The George Washington University and University of
Maryland in business marketing and related subjects at both
undergraduate and graduate level. A graduate of The George Washington
School of Medicine, Colin is a keen equestrian, member of various
Boards and
Associations, enjoys travelling and is currently trying to learn Gaelic! |

In his career Chris has held positions as a
Business Development Executive, Blockdot Inc.,
Dallas, TX;
Manager at Sumitomo Plastics, Santa Clara,
CA; Director Business Development at blue-silicon, Inc., San Jose, CA and
Senior Sales Manager at KDDI,
Burlingame, CA. Chris also
speaks Japanese!

Dan Ackermann - Partner/Operations

A multi-talented business executive who has specialized in engineering,
small and medium businesses, management consulting, systems
integration/efficiency and Business Process Alignment!
Dan is a true professional, able to
communicate and work face to face with business executives, owners and
managers in a professional but effective manner that brings focus and
attention to the smallest detail in any project or issue that he is
addressing! His specialties include:
Strategic Planning, International Business Development, Start-Up and Turnaround,
Productivity Improvements, Cost Containment and Performance Management. He
is also fluent in
English, German and French!

Yoichi Takahashi - Japanese Regional Director |
|
Yoichi is a veteran in the
telecommunications industry - 10 years with Verizon/GTE in Tokyo and 18
years with KDD in Tokyo and California. His responsibilities included
management of offices and divisions, corporate planning, sales and
marketing, public relations, government relations, legal and regulatory
compliance, finance and accounting, etc.
He has extensive
expertise in efficient management and operations based on his practical
experiences in working in fast-paced, multi-task, and multi-functional
environments.
His academic studies include Telecommunications
Policy, George Washington University, Washington D.C., and Political
Science and Economics at Waseda University, Tokyo. Of course, in
keeping with his successful business career he is a fluent speaker in
both English and Japanese! |
